BMX/Pump Bike Track at Redhead Beach
If you're interested, check this out! Lake Macquarie City Council is proposing a new BMX/Pump Track in the overflow car park near Redhead Beach. Please note, now's the time to ask your questions.
Redhead Anglican Church
With its recognisable building, well-established trees and functioning bell tower, the Redhead Anglican Church story goes back 100 years to 1920, when the church purchased land from the New Redhead Estate and Coal Co. Ltd. In 1993, the Redhead and Belmont North churches became an official Parish, and in 2013, its newest extension was opened.
So, why is this story news? Well, this iconic place on what could be Redhead’s most well-used parcel of land, will be no more. The church’s final service was held at 2pm on Sunday, February 6th, and the property is up for sale. |
