  Sustainable Neighbourhoods Lake Macquarie
Hunter and Coast EcoHealth Expo 2014
Join three local Sustainable Neighbourhood Groups (Morisset and Peninsula, Cooranbong and Dora Creek), Permaculture Hunter, Uniting Care, South Lake Macquarie RSL and Local Land Services for a festival of environmental health and personal wellbeing.

Workshops, talks, sausage sizzle, kids recycled craft, local stalls and hands-on activities will be on offer.
Key Speaker, Professor Tim Roberts, Environmental research leader and noted medical scientist will be presenting two talks:
  • 12pm - Your Environment, Your Health and Your Grandchildren
  • 2pm
    - Medical Science Update.  Chronic diseases (autism, dyslexia, chronic
    fatigue) and infection link?

Other workshops and topics on the day will include:
  • A toxin-free home and life
  • Easy permaculture orchard
  • Eco-nutrient cycling = big harvest!
  • Grow your herbal first aid kit
  • Befriending native bees - A1 pollinators
  • Healing lake marsh ecology
  • Caring culture, worthy society
  • No-dig organic gardens
