• Would you like to keep our area beautiful?  Join us to create a sense of ownership of our lovely and highly valued community, by forging and nurturing partnerships between individuals, groups, and Council.
  

Living Sustainably

• Reduce reliance on motor vehicles by identifying and enhancing safe and efficient connections for walkways and cycling throughout the neighbourhood.
  
• Would you like to grow your vegetables in a community garden?  Help establish and support a local growers market and encourage seasonal swaps of locally grown food.  We've set up a community garden with the Senior Citizens Association.
  
• Improve our environment by reducing the amount of waste going to landfill by working with the people in our community to establish waste collection points throughout the neighbourhood.  Find out about our 'Tossers can be binners' - litter reduction project.
  

Protecting the Natural Environment

• Do you love your natural surrounds?  Help us support our local Landcare groups by participating in keeping our natural environment beautiful for everyone to share and enjoy.  We've created a model fire retardant garden at the Toronto Fire Station.

• Manage our foreshores and reserves by supporting community and current programs of management and consolidation.
