Our name - Five Bays
Volunteers from LT Creek and Woodrising Sustainable Neighbourhood Groups are joining forces to encompass the Five Bays area, including Teralba, Booragul, Marmong Point, Woodrising, Bolton Point, Fennell Bay, Fassifern and Blackalls Park.
Our name refers to the five bays that line the eastern edge of our neighbourhood area, and connect us to Lake Macquarie: Cockle Bay, Awaba Bay, Kooroora Bay, Fennell Bay, and Edmunds Bay. |

Sustainable Neighbourhoods survey 2018
|
We surveyed residents of the Five Bays area to help understand attitudes about our local environment, community priorities and possible neighbourhood projects.
A copy of the survey was sent to approximately 4950 households in the Five Bays area, and promoted via email during April and May 2018. We received 436 responses - a 9% return rate. |
