Citywide Clean Up

10am-noon Various sites around Lake Macquarie Sustainable Neighbourhoods is improving our neighbourhoods with Eco Angel clean ups events across the city.
The ongoing impacts of the global pandemic has increased our appreciation of the immense value of our natural areas and green spaces. Help us care for our local places and enjoy a fun morning outdoors together, to remove plastics and other litter from our neighbourhoods. This is a Covid-Safe event. Participant numbers will be strictly limited to 20 people per site, and we will maintain adherence to physical distancing and hygiene measures. On the day:
- If you are feeling at all unwell, or have been otherwise advised to self isolate, please do not attend.
- Remember to wear covered shoes, sunsafe clothes, and bring a bottle of water.
- We will provide gloves (gardening style) and hand sanitiser for use at the event.
- We will maintain physical distancing throughout the event, standing at least 1.5m (two arm lengths) apart at all times.
- There is a strict maximum of 20 people, including organisers, per site.
- We will review up to date Public Health Orders 48 hours before the event, and notify registered participants if any changes are necessary.
