The Change Agency. The Change Agency Education and Training Institute Inc. is an independent activist education initiative. We work with community organisers and activists in the Australia Pacific region to help people win social and environmental change. Our website provides access to our growing collection of training resources, activist research including case studies and articles, outlines of our workshops, a calendar of training opportunities, links to other activist education websites and our electronic bulletin. We also list our favourite books, including several that we sell at cost price. We also provide a mentoring and advisory service for community organisers. The document is designed for all those who are delivering education about waste and/or water issues (including water quality, and water demand) and/or air quality, and other environmental management issues. Its aim is to help you to plan and conduct more appropriate evaluation of your work. Whether it is used for the evaluation of specific projects, or for whole programs, it is intended to provide guidance and assistance in a practical and useful manner.

Making Headway - Building Your Community. An Asset Based Community Development Tool Kit (Wyong Council). A toolkit describing Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). With checklists for planning and running workshops, facilitator tips, suggested icebreakers and activities, background to the ABCD approach, examples of workshop agendas.
Sustaining Eco-friendly Communities. A resource kit provided to Community Centres across NSW. The kit includes information on making your organisation more eco-friendly, running discussion groups on environmental issues, and linking with other community and environmental groups in your local area. It addresses environmental issues such as air, energy, water, waste, chemicals and biodiversity and promotes an action learning approach. Although the kit was written for people working in Community Centres, it may be useful to other community and environmental groups.

When we say activist training, we mean training that helps groups stand up more effectively for justice, peace and the environment.
