Waste to art 2019 Information
Challenge the way we look at waste!
Sustainable Neighbourhoods is challenging the way we look at waste with the 2019 Waste to Art exhibition.
Waste and plastic pollution has an enormous impact on the local and global environment.
The Waste to Art exhibition confronts us all to consider how we might be contributing to the problem, and what we can do to move to a more sustainable future.
The Waste to Art project presents a reminder to practice the ‘5 Rs’ of waste minimisation, Rethink, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, and Recycle.

(Coast And Lake Marine Debris) School Art Competition
The Caves Beach - Swansea Area Sustainable Neighbourhood Group (CBSASNG) held an art competition and exhibition for local schools 21 - 22 October 2017.
The competition invites local schools to participate by producing artworks from marine debris collected from our local parks and foreshores.
This initiative seeks to raise awareness of and educate the children about the environmental impact of marine debris while also providing an opportunity for creative expression.
The exhibition will showcase works created by the children and will be held in the Swansea Community Centre from 20 - 22 October 2017. Selected art works will be exhibited for one month in Swansea Library and one week the Finite Art Gallery, Caves Beach.
